OUR WARRANTY POLICY

The specific warranty covering your Asomtom bicycle is governed by the law of the state or country in which it was purchased and applies only to bicycles purchased from Authorized Asomtom Retailers or directly from Asomtom .

Defect Warranty:
If you buy a bike from our website or an authorized store, we offer you an out-of-the-box warranty policy. If your electric bicycle is damaged or missing accessories after you receive it, and the electric bicycle cannot work properly, we will bear the related maintenance costs, and we will reissue the lost accessories to make your bicycle work normally.


If you need to use a claim for an out-of-box defect, you must contact us (service@asomtom.com) within 15 days of receiving the bike and use it within a distance of 5 km (3 miles). You will also need to provide us with some supporting evidence such as photos or videos showing the odometer of the bike etc.


FRAMES AND FORKS:
Asomtom frames are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship for 2 years. The instrument is guaranteed for 2 months and the motor is guaranteed for 2 year.

COMPONENTS:
All other components such as lights, gauges, cranks, pedals, brakes, frame fixtures and accessories are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship for 2 months from the date of original retail purchase (due to operator mishandling during assembly The resulting thread peeling is not covered by this warranty.). Forks (other than those manufactured by Asomtom) are not covered by this limited warranty.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Parts compromised by corrosion due to exposure to the elements (moisture, heat, etc.);
Damage or deterioration of the surface finish, appearance, or aesthetics of the product;
The Warranty of the frame, forks, handlebar, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, crank-set, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD, kickstand, reflectors, and hardware only extendsone week after receiving the goods. Parts damaged during use after seven days will be charged to the customer;
Labor charges for part replacement or changeover;
Defects or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by Asomtom;
Products with the serial number or bar-code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible;
Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Asomtom for the Products;
Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that varies from the Assembly Instructions or Owner's Manual;
Defects or damage resulting from external causes, such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.
Ordinary wear and tear not resultingfrom defects in workmanship or materials. Wear and tear can be assessed by Asomtom. Parts not typically covered include but are not limited to:
Brake pads
Rotors
spokes
Tires/tubes
Chains
Chain rings
Cassettes
Limited Warranty Terms:
The terms of the warranty apply only to the original owner of the bicycle and are not suitable for transfer to subsequent owners. The limited warranty applies only to bicycles purchased from an authorized Asomtom retailer or other store where Asomtom exclusively authorizes Asomtom bicycles to be sold in fully assembled and adjusted condition. In the process of using the bicycle, the damage caused to the bicycle due to natural wear or improper use is not within the scope of tolerance. Damage caused by improper assembly or maintenance or installation of parts and accessories that are not compatible with Asomtom bikes is not covered under warranty. Fatigue damage is a symptom of frame wear and tear from normal use. This is normal wear and tear and it is the owner's responsibility to inspect his/her bike. During this limited warranty period, Asomtom will repair any defective frame or component or, at our option, replace any defective frame or component with the same or closest comparable model or component then available. All labor costs for warranty service are the responsibility of the bicycle owner. If shipping is required for the processing of a warranty claim, any such shipping costs are the responsibility of the bicycle owner.

This Limited Warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights. The consumer may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state or country to country. Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. If it is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction that a certain provision of this limited warranty does not apply, such determination shall not affect any other provision of this limited warranty and all other provisions shall remain in effect.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Defects or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemical exposure, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electricalor electromechanical stress;
Defects or damage caused by private modification;
Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage, unless caused by Asomtom;
Products that have the serial number or bar-code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible;
Ordinary wear and tear;
Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Asomtom for the Products;
Defects or damage caused by the assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment of the Products in a manner that varies from the Assembly Instructions or Owner's Manual;
Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.
In addition, with respect to the battery, this Limited Warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from following actions or situations:

Charging with a battery charger not intended or appropriate for use with the Battery;

Using a battery charger improperly;

If any of the seals on the battery are broken or show evidence of tampering;

If the Battery has been used in equipment other than the Bike for which it is specified.

WARRANTY TERMS SPECIFIC TO E-BIKES
Asomtom warrants that all new electric bicycles ("E-Bikes") and their major components sold by authorized Asomtom Bikes retailers are warranted to the original retail purchaser against manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship for all electrical components for a period of one year (2) One year from date of original retail purchase.

This warranty applies to any basic e-bike component found to be defective (corrosion of electrical components is not covered under warranty. Contacts on batteries and other electrical components should be wiped dry to prevent corrosion and oxidation) provided that the product is in standard used in a controlled manner and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction manual. Basic components include the bike frame, motor, battery, display and controller.

 CLAIMS PROCESS
1. Warranty Claims
All claims to this warranty must be made through Asomtom and submitted to service@asomtom.com. Proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product is required to be submitted alongside any warranty request. Before making a warranty claim, you are encouraged to contact Asomotm via service@asomtom.com, as there may be a simple fix for your problem that does not necessitate filing a claim. Valid warranty claims made within 2 years of initial purchase will be processed through Asomtom.

A deposit is required to replace the LCD display, motor, controller, and/or battery, which will be refunded in full upon receipt by Asomtom of the parts that need to be replaced.

Asomtom will not replace any part without first seeing photos or videos of the damaged product. Customers must provide this evidence by email.

Attention: Asomotm will offer free components and replacement parts (while shipping fees are not included), and Asomtom will not cover any installation fees without the after-sales team’s authorization.

2. Shipping Damage Claims
In rare instances, the item received may be damaged during transportation. If shipping damage occurs, please contact service@asomtom.com and provide us with photo or video proof.

No free accessories are eligible for replacement or compensation if they are scratched during transportation.

NOTICE: We will not accept shipping damage claims filed more than 7 days after receipt of any products.
