What is the difference between an electric bike and a traditional bike?
Electric bike have both the modes of traditional bike, PAS mode and throttle assist mode. Electric bike are equipped with motor batteries, which can be easier to ride than traditional bike. Even if you have physical problems such as arthritis, it is also to ride an electric bike again .
How fast can an electric bike go?
It depends on the motor of the electric bike. And, generally in the US, electric bikes has 3 class: class 1 e-bikes have a top speed limit of 20 mph, and the electric motor only works when the rider is pedaling. Class 2 e-bikes are also limited to 20 mph, but their throttles work when you're not pedaling. Class 3 e-bikes can go up to 28 mph and must have a speedometer, but may or may not have a throttle.
